Fairy copen for JA pt1
its done!!!
finally~~working in the day and painting in the nite cld prove rather hectic...phew~ but m rather proud and satisfied with the result of JA's proj. Have to thank her for trusting in me too(been 'bugging' me to paint her car since last nov;p) oso like to thank my partner and my sis for helping, arigatosss!
Jus recieved sms fr JA and fr the sound of it, she seemed excited and happy with her "new car"haha...;p

Fairy Copen for JA
Jus finished painting the bonnet of JA's copen--pearl white base is a perfect canvas for creating a nostalgic mood...whole car wld be of fairies-flowers-Ivy theme, top wld be 2 roses, 1 dark red and the other pink....hmmm..fantasy design for a the dreamy princess ;p
wld post more aft finishing each of the stages, stay tuned!
purple true fire colt
This is my latest true fire collection--purple! However, was VERY disappointed with the end result, which has been tampered by many hands!
1) The owner chosed a matt lacquer, which "langa" with the true fire design, as opposed to the brilliance of a gloss lacquer.
2) much of the designs were altered, some even AFTER its been completed, without knowledge of the artist, wasting time, effort and paint! and a true disrespect to the art.
Lesson learned! Never again!!! Urrrrggghhhh~~~~;(

Hi all! here's my latest project;p finally...been bz with my journalist work, hence the late update.
hmmm..wanted to create "burning" effect, dragon's scrath & tear revealing a furnace or fire underneath the bonnet....hopefully i'd be able to capture that;p

This BMW X3 with WWII Pearl Harbour design, is inspired by the Russian artist Germann, who's truly a genius with original style. His pieces often depict a dark yet poetic aura, totally impossible to imitate. Born in a place with no war lyk singapore, i cld oni try my best to get as close to the technique as possible,but never the same 意境as his。salute to Germann!!

I painted this True Fire on pearl White base---the first and only in Singapore . inspired fr Patrick Guyton who's totally original in this brilliant idea. He was the winner of "Show me your true fire" world fire air-brushing contest organised by KillerPaint fr the US.

cobra aft laquered. my lacquer "shi-fu"(master) Ah hua used HG lacquer fr MIPA fr germany to finish the job, giving the bonnet a ultra mirra-like gloss look. cool.
Tiger on Kangoo Bonnet
kangoo bonnet very very very verrryyyyy last min assignment. started work on tues night 9pm, finished half way on wed 4am, Zzzzzz...., contd at 9am, done at 1pm!! all within 12hrs, another personal record, yeah!! send for lacquering at 3pm, and off it goes to expo Super Import Night at 7pm!! airbrush DHL man...quite satisfied with the results, but if given more time, wld wanna add in finer details. aiya, next time always better lah;)Yakuza Camry!!

last minute proj, oni hv 5days to complete!! how to turn this er..."special" and old Toyota Camry into a Yakuza sedan? crack head ah....
O Ren Ishi in "Kill Bill", the all time fav cult film icon...yakuza lady boss, wat else but her to go with the theme of this car?
Bonnet of fish and dragon...went kino bought a few books on jap tattoos, studied then came up with the final design. consulted a real jap tattoo artist...found out dat the dragon was actually transformed fr koi!! Bingo!! heng ah, must get it right, if not kena laughed at...ha ha;->
got the feel liao...
